Serenity Eyre
I began my love affair with makeup in London in the early 1980s. By the mid-90s I was a cosmetics manager for Christian Dior, having returned to my east coast roots. Over the last 16 years, I have worked as a makeup artist for many luxury brands. When I returned to Asheville from New York City, I was thrilled to begin my partnership with Scott at Makeup at the Grove Arcade. I love the transformative nature of makeup and cannot wait to share SERENITY+SCOTT with you.
Zack Russell
As a kid I loved essential oils and botanics which brought me to getting my aesthetics license. With my previous education in Painting and Photography I found myself on a creative Makeup Career path instead. In 2010 I began an apprenticeship with Scott Thompson at what was Makeup at the Grove Arcade. My journey with Makeup led me to become a lead Bridal, Commercial, and Small scale FX Makeup Artist. Years later I became Senior Partner of Serenity and Scott. My love of scents began when we sold independent fragrance brands in the shop. Through my curiosity and perseverance I became a self taught perfumer. From there we launched in 2016 Serenity and Scott Men’s care, Skin Care, and ten Serenity and Scott Fragrances. With now over 30 fragrances I would dare say I fell in love with the world of scent.
